My Exit Strategy

I plan on spreading my business idea throughout the country onto every university possible. Once I feel that this has been done, I believe the value of my company will be significant enough for me to sell and enjoy and rest of my life with the money from the company. I chose this strategy because selling once I have reached maximum expansion, the company value will eventually start to either plateau or fall unless more expansion to other countries occurs. I believe running a company through multiple countries would be too much effort and not enough return, so if an investor is interested in doing so they still could with my business. My exit strategy influence my decisions of not expanding to out of the country and doing more than I can handle. There is no point in working ridiculously hard on my business since I am not passing it on to a family member or anything like that.

  1. Andrew, smart idea. One it hits the standardization stage it starts going downhill unless you have continuous innovation. Build it up, sell it at max profit, and retire young... That would be the life. I agree taking it international could be too challenging but the rewards could be immense. Goodluck with your venture! Check out my blog here:

  2. Hey Andrew, I think this a solid plan, get rich quick seems are unreliable, but normally pretty good ideas and you should always try it. My exit strategy is also to sell, but not because I don't want to have to work, but because I want to do lots of different kinds of businesses. 3. Hi Andrew, I agree with your strategy to let the business grow and eventually sell it. Most businesses don't continue to grow after a certain point anyway and if you know you can sell it for a price that would allow you to live off of comfortably that is a great plan. I would do the same thing with my business. There is always another opportunity to start over as well.
