Elevator Pitch No. 1

My opportunity is to help fix the dining hall food not only here at UF but at any school where the students feel unsatisfied with their food. I plan on providing better quality food and more variety for students because that is what they seemed to dislike most about the food. My company is called College Campus Dining and will try to reach out to as many college campuses as possible.

  1. Andrew, you have definitely identified a need that college students have, but I think it would be a good idea if you were more specific in your solution. Because this is a common idea that people have to fix, and because Dr. Pryor used this example in class, if you want to go with this than you should be as creative as possible to really make your idea different than others’.

  2. Hey Andrew! I think its pretty obvious that across colleges everywhere, people dislike dining halls. However, I feel like you just reiterated a common problem without really coming up with a unique solution. How exactly would you provide better food and higher quality food? What you realistically be able to accomplish that goal without the meal plan being even more expensive? Keep up with the idea, but I feel as though you need to add some more details to it first. 3. Hello Andrew, I agree with your point about current dining hall option. I think they make a good effort to provide various meals constantly to attract students. However, especially for those who live on campus student they should change. It is getting serious issue to think about since on campus residents cannot avoid eating food dining hall all the time due to financial matters.
