2) After reading feedback from my first elevator pitch, I understood that my idea wasn't specific enough. So I decided to make my mission to reach out to local producers that can provide the food for much cheaper. This helps give strength to my idea and makes it more likely to be successful. Along with this, many people agreed on how the dining hall food isn't that great and needs to be fixed, which shows that there is an opportunity.
3) I changed my goal on focusing on the audience, or the students. The students are the customers so it is absolutely necessary to reach out to them in order to make them happy. Along with this, which I stated in number 2, I focused on reaching out to local producers in order to get the cheaper but better quality food.
Andrew, I'm not familiar with the meal plans but I think this is a brilliant idea. I also love how you stated that you would reach out to local producers in order to get your product. I am all for supporting the local farmers instead of big grocery stores. I think it's really important to give back to the community in any way possible. I believe your idea was really thought out and I am impressed! great post! Go Gators!
opps. and check out my post, I was sick so mines not nearly as good but neither less...http://juliannacaroline25.blogspot.com/2016/02/elevator-pitch-noo-2.html
Hi Andrew, This sounds like a good plan, I wish you would go into more detail on how you can do this for cheaper then the fresh food company and where you're going to cut costs compared to them. It seems like if there was easy to get locally sourced food of better quality that's cheaper the people running fresh food would buy it. The presentation was additionally kind of monotone, I think you should vary your tone more and provide more detail or some specifics. you should check out my elevator pitch http://imalsonotadoctor.blogspot.com/2016/02/elevator-pitch-no-2.html
I think your idea shows creativity and a deeper understanding of food culture and overall wellness options. I think that you should look more into ways you can implement this proposal and really understand your target market and its features. Who do you think will be interested in your idea, how would you market your product? Feel free to check out my post,http://jessjohns1.blogspot.com/2016/02/elevator-pitch-2.html
Hey Andrew, great job on your video! I completely agree that the quality of the food that comes with the meal plan compared to the price is a little absurd. I think that your video sounded very professional and it is obvious that you are very enthusiastic about your product. In the future I think you could improve by giving more insight as to what you plan on doing to transform college cafeterias. If you want to check out my post you can find it here: http://blogmenexttime.blogspot.com/2016/02/elevator-pitch-2.html
